I've been a software engineer/TD with Pixar Animation Studios since 2002, developing tools and technology used by animators on the films 'Finding Nemo', "The Incredibles", "Ratatouille", "Cars" and "Wall-E". You can read about a couple of the projects here and here

Short Work History
I grew up in the North-East of Scotland, graduated from Aberdeen University, worked in the fields of robot vision, parallel programming, and scientific visualisation with the University of Edinburgh & EPCC, edited SIGGRAPHs magazine, worked on animation software as a tech lead at Softimage before joining Pixar and moving to Berkeley with Mel.
